Carlyle Compound Cooling - the most energy efficient compressor in the industry Welcome to the Greener Side of the Fence
Seeking Performance and Reliability in Greener Times

Looking around it appears the landscape of the industry is evolving faster than ever and driving forces are coming from every direction. Given the dynamic nature of today's environment, it seems the only common focus is the environment itself. Everyone is striving to be more green and seeking environmentally-conscious competitive advantages. The reasons may be different, but the goal is the same: Sustainability.

It can be difficult to find products that deliver the same reliability you're used to while also meeting the performance benchmarks of today. When making your compressor choice however, the decision just got a lot easier.

Carlyle Compound Cooling compressors consistently deliver efficiency advantages over single stage compressors in low temperature applications, as is shown in the published performance data comparing Carlyle's Compound Cooling to competitive low temperature compressors. In addition, Compound Cooling compressors demonstrate increased system stability over a wide range of condensing temperatures while maintaining the world class reliability only Carlyle can deliver. And a more reliable compressor means less scrap waste going into the environment.

So if your customers' requirements for performance and reliability are getting tighter and tougher to meet, and you are looking for a solution that's easy to implement and won't drive up your operating costs, it's time to consider Carlyle Compound Cooling.

Carlyle Compressors Offer Versatile Solutions

Bryce Johnson, Solution Manager, Cooling for DeLaval Inc, the world's largest producer of dairy equipment understands the reliability of Carlyle compressors. DeLaval has been a loyal user of Carlyle compressors in their dairy pre-cooling equipment for many years. However recently, when Johnson decided out of curiosity to check the new air conditioning equipment for the computer systems at DeLaval's North American Headquarters, he was interested to see similar Carlyle compressors being used in that system.

"We know from experience that Carlyle compressors are durable," said Johnson. "At DeLaval we use Carlyle in our dairy cooling systems. They need to be reliable as they operate in harsh farm environments with systems that run up to 22 hours a day, so it makes sense to see the same Carlyle compressors used in a computer room where reliability is also key."

Many DeLaval units operate on large dairy farms with 3,000 or more cows, and only stop for the milk tanks to be cleaned. Reliability is critical because the units must rapidly cool the produced milk from approximately 101F to 38F in order to prevent bacteria from infecting the milk.

"Carlyle compressors are known throughout the industry for being versatile and durable," said Amber Thousand, Carlyle marketing manager. "Our customers know they can rely on Carlyle compressors to perform across many conditions, so using the same compressor for dairy and computer applications makes sense."

When it Comes to Aftermarket Compressors, the Question is Reman or Rebuilt?

The difference between "remanufactured" and "rebuilt" compressors is significant when it comes to performance. To help educate contractors and end-users about these critical differences, Carlyle published a video detailing the remanufacturing process and showing key differences in quality. The video is viewable online via the Carlyle and Carlyle Certified Refrigeration Partners websites: www.carlylecompressor.com and www.carlyleccrp.com, respectively.

One of the most significant reasons to select a remanufactured compressor over rebuilt is that it is broken down to its smallest components and fully reconstructed to current OEM specifications. With remanufactured compressors, any damaged or worn parts are discarded and replaced with new ones, where as "rebuilt" compressors typically reuse any functional parts even if they may be sub-par.

The video also cites the UL seal of approval as a method of comparing compressors. All Genuine Carlyle remanufactured compressors are produced to these internationally recognized safety standards. In contrast, rebuilt compressors that do not meet UL safety levels risk code violations and may invalidate the original UL listing for the entire system.

Watch the video now to learn the key benefits of using remanufactured compressors over rebuilt imitations.
